MAINTENANCE
To maximise the lifespan of any area, it's essential that it is maintained correctly. Not only do we supply our customers with any information they need to carry out the maintenance, we also offer servicing packages to help keep everything in top condition and safe for all their users.
ARTIFICIAL GRASS
We recommend lightly brushing your Artificial Grass once every 2 week to remove things such as branches and leafs. This process can be carried out quicker with a power brush. Brushing the surface doesn't just remove the debris, it also brings volume back to the pile which is key to keeping it looking new. We also offer a cleaning product which helps to keep the colour in the Grass, removing small bits of debris which can build up over time.

Once a month we encourage a visual inspection to check the edges of the carpet haven't come away from the adhesive. This can be quickly repaired with our specialist Artificial Grass Glue.
​
The most important thing is to avoid having mirrors and other reflective surfaces on your Artificial Grass as reflected sunlight can cause the synthetic surface to burn.

Artificial Grass can last upwards of 10 years if it is maintained correctly and the use of the power brush will keep it looking as good as the day it was installed. We offer an Annual Maintenance Package to carry out an in-depth service. This includes repairing any wear related damage, and clean using specialist products and equipment.
WETPOUR SAFETY SURFACING & UniPave Sufacing
It's important to stay on top of Wetpour as the vibrant colours can become dull due to a build up of debris and usage getting into the small gaps in the rubber crumbs.

A visual inspection every 2-3 weeks with a quick brush over to clear any build up of debris is substantial to keep the colours jumping out.
​
Once a year a really good clean in necessary to remove the build up. This maintenance process requires Power Brush Surface cleaner, which is sprayed and then brushed into the surface with a Power Brush or Stiff Brush. We then let this product sit for 10-15 minutes before using a High Pressure Washer to which removes most of the dirt and all of the Surface Cleaner product.

We know this can be quite the hassle, especially in large Wetpour areas, which is why our Specialist Maintenance Team can be booked to clean your Wetpour Surfacing and maximise the lifespan and keep the colours jumping out!

UniPave is a similar product to Wetpour, however it is not a Safety Surface. UniPave is a mixture of Base Rubber and Coloured Stone Chippings, most commonly used on pathways. The maintenance procedure is the same as Wetpour Surfacing.

ECO MULCH SAFETY SURFACING
Mulch benefits from it's Natural style, it's a lot easier to maintain than surfaces such as Wetpour, while offering the same free fall height protection.
​
Another perk of Mulch is that it doesn't require a lot of maintenance. It's installed with a Weed Suppressant Membrane when laid onto grass, but we recommend applying a Weed Killer product if airborne Weeds get into the shred.
RESIN BOUND GRAVEL
Resin Bonded Gravel is a very fashionable surface which has become very popular on driveways and patios. Not only does it look good, it has great durability meaning vehicles are no issue.

Achieving a similar look to Gravel without the risk of a rainy day washing it away is just another reason this is one of our most fitted products. We can also lay graphics into this surface using Aluminium Edgings, a popular option is creating a border which is filled with a contrasting colour Resin Bonded Gravel. The surface is also porous meaning you don't have to worry about the surface puddling.

Due to the durability, Resin Bonded Gravel will maintain its colour and can last up to 25 years if it's maintained correctly. For these reasons Resin Bonded Gravel is slowly taking over Tarmac as the trusted surface for paths, driveways and patios.
To maintain this surface, we recommend a visual inspection once a month and a quick jet wash to remove any debris. Annually, it's important to apply Power Brush Surface Cleaner onto the gravel and brushing in with a stiff brush, letting the cleaning agent sit for around 15 minutes then Jet Washing the area off.
THERMOPLASTIC MARKINGS
Thermoplastic Playground Markings are one of the most popular options when it comes to creating play value on the ground, with budget friendly costs and a wide range, covering all most elements of play it's not hard to see why.

Not only are they ready for use 30 minutes after installation, they're very easy to maintain. Simply use a jet wash from a standing height to clear any build up from use and debris.
​
We recommend cleaning them once every 3 weeks. If maintained correctly, Thermoplastic Markings can last up to 10 years!
Tarmac
Tarmac is well know surface, it's durability makes it great value for money and it can be used in almost any area, whether it's a pathway or a Sports Court. Due to the surface being porous, it's a lot less likely to puddle meaning it can be used all year round.

Tarmac can last up to 20 years. The colour of Tarmac can fade, however can supply a Paint which returns it to that clean jet black. The paint is very easy to use, but we also offer a service to apply the paint as large areas can be very time consuming to paint.
​
In order to get as much use out of a Tarmac surface as possible it's important to carry out visual inspections once every 2-3 months, sweeping away any debris that may of built up. We then recommend a deep clean using a Power Brush once a year. Finally, every 3-5 years it's key to reseal Tarmac to ensure cracks don't expand due the elements taking their toll on the surface.
